Well I am sorry I haven't been very active at all since the school term started. However, I had a LOT of things to do. Lots of homework for one! Happily, the term ended on a rather high note, I got good marks and will be starting up second term in January. This is especially a good thing considering we've all been terrorized with high failure estimates from our teachers since September.

School has me drawing again quite a lot, I've got pages and pages of sketches I've been thinking of dumping on you guys, if you'd be interested in such a thing.

Now that Christmas is over, I will have a bit of time FINALLY to laze. I also plan to draft up some adorable holiday skirts for my dolls, and punch up a couple pictures for everyone.

Christmas was amazing! The beautiful !jaded-august gifted me with a light Tan Rosen I have appropriately dubbed Fox. He's got a pair of gumdrops ordered for him, which will look divine. They're custom ones I put together myself, and am eagerly awaiting the results, even though I'll be waiting a few months.

I could go over how many other awesome things I got, but that would be tacky wouldn't it? I did however get to make a call across the pond to *Geekisthecolour and wish her a merry Christmas which was absolutely amazing and great. Though it did make me miss her all the more!

But enough with the babble. I said to myself when *Geekisthecolour did this that I would do it too, so here we go.

There is something very beautiful about ~To-fu's painting style. The colours are all at once harmonious and vivid, the landscapes and characters she paints are surreal and exquisitely rendered. I open every deviation this artist drops into my inbox.

And then to an artist with a completely different style. I found !Kippery through someone else I watch. This artist's style is very sharp and angular. Her linework reminds me of a linocut every time, and the mythology of her characters is beautiful and mysterious.

This artist is my watercolour-spiration. ~tir-ri is a master at manipulating and creating beautiful work with watercolours, her style is so distinct and well rounded, I can't help but love this deviant's work.
